Rooms available for hire
We have two rooms for hire in Keswick; the Crosthwaite Parish Room and the Sunday School Room. In addition the Crosthwaite Church building and the Underskiddaw Church Room can be hired for appropriate concerts and events at the discretion of the vicar.
Crosthwaite Parish Room
The Crosthwaite Parish Room is located on Keswick Main Street, CA12 5NN next to the Co-op car park. The hall is approximately 20 m x 8 m with chairs available for up to 100 people plus ten folding tables. A wall mounted pull down screen is available for showing presentations or films (projector not provided). There is a basic kitchen at the rear of the hall with use by arrangement. Room heating is provided by hot water radiators heated by a gas central heating boiler controlled by a 7 day programmer. A basic sound system is installed with 2 high level speakers with input from laptops, CD players etc. There is step free access into this building. There are nearby paid public car parks.
The Sunday School Room
The Sunday School Room is located near Crosthwaite Church off Church Lane, CA12 5QG. The room is approximately 8 m x 5 m with chairs available for up to 30 people plus some folding tables. There is no kitchen but a work top area with sink and kettle is available for serving drinks and pre-prepared food brought to the room. Room heating is provided by hot water radiators heated by a gas central heating boiler controlled by a 7 day programmer. There is step free access into this building and free parking nearby.
